Shanghai Metal Corporation is a leading Pure Lead Sheet manufacturer and supplier.
Pure Lead Sheet is a dense, highly malleable metal product manufactured from refined lead with a minimum purity of 99.9%. With a density of 11.34 g/cm³, this material provides effective attenuation of ionizing radiation, including X-rays and gamma rays. It is primarily utilized in medical imaging facilities, nuclear power plants, and industrial radiography operations to shield personnel and sensitive equipment from harmful exposure. Additionally, the material's high mass and sound transmission loss characteristics make it suitable for acoustic insulation in architectural partitions and vibration dampening in heavy machinery. Its outstanding resistance to corrosion from acids and alkalis allows it to serve as a protective lining in chemical processing tanks and piping systems, extending the service life of industrial infrastructure. The sheet is available in thicknesses ranging from 0.5 mm to 45 mm, with custom dimensions and surface treatments available upon request.

Standard Packaging
· Lead sheets with thickness ≤ 6.0 mm are supplied in rolls. Each roll is wrapped with protective PE film, covered with a woven plastic bag, and secured with end caps. The roll weight ranges from 50 kg to 150 kg.
· Lead sheets with thickness > 6.0 mm are supplied as flat sheets. Each sheet is interleaved with a thin plastic film to prevent surface scratches during transit.
· Rolls and flat sheets are packed into fumigated wooden cases or placed on fumigated wooden pallets.
· Wooden cases are reinforced with steel strapping and corner guards. The maximum weight per wooden case is 1,500 kg, with standard case dimensions of 1000 mm × 2000 mm × 500 mm (customizable to sheet size).
· Each package bears a durable label indicating dimensions, thickness, gross weight, net weight, and batch number.
Shipping
· We support FCL (20GP / 40HQ) and LCL sea freight, air freight, and express delivery. Due to the high density of lead sheets, FCL sea freight is recommended to minimize handling and reduce transport costs.
· Available trade terms: EXW, FOB, CFR, CIF, DDP (Other terms may be available upon request).
· Shipping costs are calculated based on cargo volume, gross weight, destination port, and selected transportation method.
· Standard shipping documents provided: Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, and Certificate of Origin. (Third-party inspection certificates or MSDS can be provided upon request).
Lead Time
· Samples: 5–7 working days.
· Standard orders: 20–25 working days.
· Customized orders (special dimensions or thickness): 30–40 working days.
