Shanghai Metal Corporation is a leading Aluminum Roofing Sheet manufacturer and supplier.
Aluminum Roofing Sheet (also known as corrugated aluminum sheet) is a lightweight, durable roofing and cladding material formed from aluminum alloy coils through a roll-forming process. It is mainly used in airport terminals, aircraft maintenance hangars, railway stations, stadiums, exhibition centers, warehouses, hospitals, supermarkets, and other commercial and industrial buildings. Its corrugated profile provides structural rigidity while keeping the weight to approximately one-third of steel roofing, reducing the load on building structures and allowing direct installation over most existing roofing materials. The aluminum surface naturally forms a protective oxide layer and can be further treated with anodizing or color coating, giving the sheet excellent corrosion resistance and a service life of up to 50 years, even in coastal or humid environments.

Dimension Remarks
Standard thickness range: 0.3 mm – 1.5 mm. Standard width before corrugation: 600 mm – 1500 mm; width after corrugation depends on profile type. Length is customized per project requirement. Alloy grades: 1000, 3000, 5000 series (AA3004, 3005, 5052). Temper: H24, H32. Corrugation pitch and depth are adjustable based on profile design. Dimensional tolerance: ±0.03 mm for thickness, ±2 mm for width. Custom profiles, colors, and coating specifications are available upon request.
Production Process Flow
Aluminum coil casting → Rolling to target thickness → Annealing / tempering (H24/H32) → Surface treatment (mill finish / anodizing / color coating) → Roll forming (corrugation) → Cutting to length → Dimension and profile inspection → Surface quality check → Marking and packing.
Standard Packaging
Each sheet is separated by protective film or kraft paper to prevent surface scratches. Sheets are stacked in bundles, wrapped with PE film, and secured with steel or plastic straps. Bundles are placed on fumigated wooden pallets or in wooden crates for export shipment. Clear labels are tagged on the outside for easy identification.
Shipping
We support FCL and LCL sea freight, air freight, and express delivery depending on order quantity and destination. Shipping costs are calculated based on cargo volume, gross weight, destination, and selected transportation method.
Lead Time
Samples: 7–15 working days
Standard orders: 25–35 working days
Customized orders: 35–50 working days

Q1:What is the MOQ for Aluminum Roofing Sheet?
A:The MOQ is 1×20GP container (approximately 10–15 tons depending on thickness and width). Trial orders or LCL shipments can be negotiated for first-time cooperation.
Q2:Can you customize the thickness, width, and color?
A:Yes. We support OEM production with custom thickness (0.3–1.5 mm), width (600–1500 mm), length, corrugation profile, and color coating. Provide your drawing or specification, and we will evaluate feasibility and provide a quotation within 24 hours.
Q3:What is the lead time for standard and customized orders?
A:Standard sizes: 25–35 working days after deposit. Customized orders: 35–50 working days. Sample orders: 7–15 working days.
Q4:What is the difference between corrugated aluminum sheet and aluminum IBR sheet?
A:Corrugated aluminum sheet uses a wave-shaped profile suitable for traditional roofing and cladding applications. Aluminum IBR sheet (Inverted Box Rib) features a trapezoidal profile with a wider flat surface and higher structural strength, making it suitable for large-span industrial and commercial roofing.
Q5:What surface treatment options are available?
A:Options include mill finish, anodizing, powder coating, and color coating. Anodizing thickness is typically 10–15 μm; powder coating thickness is 60–80 μm. Custom colors are available based on your samples.
Q6:What certifications or quality standards do you provide?
A:We provide material certificates, dimensional inspection reports, and coating test reports. Products can be manufactured to comply with DIN, AAMA, AS/NZS, and CHINAGB standards upon request.
