Shanghai Metal Corporation is manufacturer and supplier of Woven Fabric Aluminium Foil Warning Tape.

Conventional detectable warning tapes typically consist of OPP + aluminum foil + PE. This structure is the most widely used, offers the best value for money, and is easy to install; however, PE warning tapes often suffer from breakage when backfill or subjected to mechanical compaction underground. Woven fabric aluminum foil warning tapes replace the PE layer in the tape structure with glass fiber woven fabric, which offers higher tensile strength, greater tear resistance, and superior resistance to high temperatures and aging.

By using glass fiber woven fabric instead of the PE layer, the tape is less prone to breaking, deforming, or shifting during long-term burial, ensuring that its detectable and warning functions remain effective over time. It is unaffected by heat generated by the pipeline, and the composite layers are unlikely to separate or peel off. It possesses exceptional chemical stability, resisting acids, alcohols, microorganisms, and moisture, and match the lifespan of the pipeline. With an extremely low coefficient of thermal expansion, it maintains dimensional stability, remaining flat, taut, and in place during long-term burial.
