PET coated steel wire is composite material made of steel wire substrate and continuous PET plastic coating layer. The PET coating tightly wraps around the steel wire surface to isolate the metal from moisture, chemical corrosion and abrasion. This product is widely used for binding, weaving mesh, cable reinforcement, packaging and agricultural fencing. Compared with ordinary bare steel wire, the PET coating avoids direct contact between metal and external environment, effectively slowing down rust generation and resisting weak acid and alkali corrosion. It can maintain stable physical performance under outdoor and humid working conditions, reduce the frequency of replacement and maintenance of steel wire in the project. The coating also prevents metal burrs from scratching operators and other matching materials during processing and application.

Packaging

1. Unit‑package: PET coated steel wire is co‑into coils. Each coil is wrapped with inner vacuum‑aluminum‑foil bag plus anti‑rust paper for moisture and corrosion protection. Shock‑resistant foam pads are applied for edge protection.

2. Outer case: Coils are loaded into reinforced cartons or plywood wooden cases, secured with packing belts. Wooden cases shall be half‑opened for inner‑condition inspection before final sealing.

3. Pallet loading: Finished cartons / wooden cases are neatly stacked on standard export pallets and fully wrapped with stretch film. Shipping marks & item labels are printed and affixed on outer‑case surface.

4. Loading operation: Forklift is adopted to place pallets into container or truck for shipment.
