Shanghai Metal Corporation is a leading Disposable Butyl Rubber Stopper for Blood Tube manufacturer and supplier.
Disposable butyl rubber stopper for blood collection tube is a one‑time‑use sealing component made of medical‑grade butyl rubber. This part is designed to fit on the opening of vacuum blood collection tubes. It maintains stable negative pressure inside the blood tube after vacuum pumping, so that human blood can flow automatically into the tube during clinical blood sampling. The butyl rubber material has low gas permeability, which slows down air penetration and prevents vacuum loss during storage and transportation. It also resists chemical reactions with anticoagulants, coagulants and other additives pre‑filled inside blood tubes, avoiding sample contamination or component failure. This stopper is widely used in hospital clinical laboratories, physical examination centers and medical testing institutions. It solves common practical problems including vacuum attenuation, blood sample leakage, and chemical compatibility failure between rubber and tube additives during specimen storage and transport.

Standard Packaging
Disposable butyl rubber stoppers for blood collection tube are packed inside clean medical‑grade PE sealed bags, each bag contains 5000 pcs. Sealed PE bags are then put into thick export cartons. Each carton holds 20 000 pcs. Cartons are strapped with packing belts and stacked on fumigated wooden pallets. Pallets are fully wrapped with stretch film to block dust and moisture during ocean or land transit. Product batch number and specification marks are printed on outside carton labels.
Shipping
We support FCL full container sea freight, LCL less‑than‑container sea freight and air freight, determined by order quantity and destination. Applicable trade terms include EXW, FOB, CIF. Other terms may be available upon request. Shipping cost is calculated based on total cargo volume, gross weight, receiving port and selected transport mode.
Lead Time
Samples: 3–7 working days
Standard bulk orders: 15–25 working days
Custom‑mold customized orders: 25–40 working days

Q1: How long does sample preparation take?
A: Standard existing‑mold samples will be finished within 3‑7 working days. If custom mold needs to be opened for new dimension, sample time will extend to 20‑30 working days.
Q2: What information do you need for a custom quotation?
A: We need tube inner diameter to match stopper, stopper structure type, required hardness, order quantity, sterilization way and target market medical requirement.
Q3: What is the MOQ for bulk production?
A: MOQ for existing mould product is 200 000 pieces. For new custom‑mold items, extra mould cost applies and MOQ will be confirmed separately.
Q4: What certifications can you provide for this medical rubber stopper?
A: We can provide raw‑material test report, rubber‑composition analysis report. Customer shall finish local medical registration according to destination country regulation.
Q5: What is the difference between halogenated butyl stopper and ordinary butyl stopper for blood tube?
A: Halogenated butyl rubber has lower moisture‑gas permeability and better puncture debris‑resistance, suitable for vacuum blood‑collection tube. Ordinary butyl rubber has higher air permeability and cannot guarantee long‑term vacuum retention, it is not fit for vacuum blood sampling use.
Q6: Which key factors should I confirm when selecting blood‑collection tube rubber stopper?
A: Confirm matching tube dimension, rubber material grade, required hardness, adaption with tube inner additives and sterilization method for finished products
