ABS pipe is a kind of pipe made of polypropylene and acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer (ABS).ABS pipe has excellent corrosion resistance, abrasion resistance and high temperature resistance, and it is widely used in piping systems in construction, chemical industry, electric power, petroleum and other fields. It not only has good mechanical strength and rigidity, but also has a certain degree of flexibility and impact resistance, but also has good electrical insulation properties and chemical corrosion resistance, suitable for conveying a variety of liquids and gases.

1. Standard lengths: Pressure pipes are typically 4 m or 6 m; stormwater drainage pipes are 4 m or 6 m

2. Connection method: Primarily socket-and-spigot adhesive bonding; large-diameter pipes may use flanges

1. Excellent impact resistance and high toughness. It is not prone to brittle fracture at low temperatures, which is ABS’s greatest advantage over PVC.

2. Corrosion-resistant and scale-resistant. Resistant to weak acids, weak alkalis, and salt solutions; does not rust; features a smooth inner wall with low fluid resistance; resistant to scale buildup.

3. Lightweight and easy to install. Weighs only 1/7 as much as steel pipe; uses socket-and-glue bonding for fast installation; easy to cut.

4. Non-toxic and Hygienic. Food-grade ABS can be used for the transport of fluids at room temperature in the drinking water and food industries.

5. Good Mechanical Strength. It has good rigidity and a certain pressure-bearing capacity, making it suitable for pressure piping.

6. Dimensional Stability. It has a moderate coefficient of thermal expansion and exhibits less deformation compared to PE pipes.

1. Building Rainwater Systems (Most Common).Roof rainwater and siphon rainwater pipes; ABS rainwater pipes offer good impact resistance and are not prone to brittle fracture at low temperatures, making them a common choice for many high-rise buildings.

2. Cold Water Supply. Building cold water supply and auxiliary piping in pump rooms; not suitable for hot water.

3. Sewage and Wastewater Disposal. Indoor drainage, laboratory wastewater, and small-scale sewage treatment pipelines.

4. Chemical Fluid Transport. Transportation of weak acids, weak alkalis, and salt solutions; auxiliary piping for electroplating production lines and pickling tanks.

5. Water Treatment Industry. Pure water/water purification equipment, reverse osmosis (RO) systems, circulating water, and chemical dosing lines; corrosion-resistant and rust-free.

6. Swimming Pools and Water Parks. Swimming pool water circulation pipes; resistant to chlorine corrosion and impact.

Standard Packaging

There are three common types of packaging for ABS pipes: first, woven bags wrapped in PE film, which are suitable for high-volume, full-container shipments; second, cardboard boxes, which are suitable for small-diameter short pipes, pipe fittings, samples, and less-than-container-load (LCL) shipments; and third, wooden crates, which enhance transport safety.

Shipping

We support FCL and LCL sea freight, air freight, as well as project specific over land trucking, subject to order quantity and destination country. Available trade terms include EXW, FOB, CIF, DAP and other Incoterms upon customer request. Freight cost is calculated according to cargo volume, gross weight, delivery destination and selected transport mode.

Q1: What is ABS pipe?

A: ABS pipe (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene pipe) is a thermoplastic pipe. It features high impact resistance, good toughness, lightweight and easy installation. It’s widely used for drainage, waste & vent systems.

Q2: What are your main specifications?

A: We supply different outer diameters and wall thicknesses as per ASTM D2661, ISO standard. Custom lengths and colors (black is standard) are available upon request.

Q3: What’s the application of ABS pipe?

A: Mainly for building sanitary drainage, sewage and vent piping systems in residential and commercial constructions. Not suitable for hot water pressure pipeline.

Q4: What standard do your ABS pipes comply with?

A: Normally ASTM D2661. Other international standards can be negotiated.

Q5: Is ABS pipe resistant to chemicals?

A: Good resistance to most household chemicals, acids and alkalis. Not resistant to strong solvents like acetone.

Q6: How to connect ABS pipe?

A: Solvent cement welding is the standard connection method, fast and reliable.

Q7: What is the temperature range for use?

A: Working temperature: -40℃ ~ +60℃. Not for continuous high-temperature fluid.

A: MOQ depends on sizes. Small trial order is acceptable, please contact us for details.

Q9: Packaging method?
